چکیده

The practical usage of untraditional feedstuffs such as sunflower meal (SFM) in laying hens nutrition developing countries has received considerable attention. SFM is a by-product the oil industry and been progressively added to bird’s diets. Sunflower gaining great interest feed ingredient due its eminent crude protein content, low anti-nutritional compounds, price. current experiment was aimed assess production efficiency, egg quality, yolk fatty acids composition, nutrient digestibility fed SFM. A total 162 Bovans Brown aged 60 weeks old were randomly allocated using completely randomized design into three experimental groups nine replicates each (n = six/replicate) for eight weeks. dietary treatments involved control (basal diet) two levels SFM, 50 100 g/kg feed. did not influence live weight gain, intake, mass. On one hand, rate increased; on other conversion ratio broken eggs decreased (p < 0.05) by inclusion Dietary had no effect egg’s quality characteristics except color height larger 0.01) compared with those control. content cholesterol yolk. Still, it increased contents vitamin E, calcium, linoleic acid, linolenic oleic acid 0.05). Furthermore, calcium digestibility, but ether extract digestibility. In conclusion, our results suggested that up at late phase laying, could improve performance, some traits, while decreasing cholesterol.

Effects of Chito-oligosaccharide Supplementation on Egg Production, Nutrient Digestibility, Egg Quality and Blood Profiles in Laying Hens

This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of dietary supplementation with chito-oligosccharide (COS) on egg production, nutrient digestibility, egg quality and blood profiles in laying hens. A total of 240 Hy-line Brown laying hens were randomly allocated into one of the following 5 dietary treatments: i) CON, basal diet; ii) ANT, basal diet+44 mg/kg avilamycin; iii) COS0.2, basal diet+2...

Effects of a nanostructure of phytic acid absorber on the performance and protein digestibility in laying hens

A ten-week experiment was conducted to study the effect of a nanostructure of phytic acid absorber (NPAA) on the performance and protein digestibility in laying hens. A total of 100 Bovans laying hens were randomly assigned to 5 treatments, with 4 replicates, 5 hens each. The experiment was a completely randomized design with 5 levels of NPAA; including zero (T1, as a basal diet (BD)); T2 (BD+ ...

Productive performance and egg quality of brown egg-laying hens in the late phase of production as influenced by level and source of calcium in the diet.

A total of 1,152 Lohmann Brown laying hens were used to study the influence of level (3.5 and 4.0%) and source (coded FIN, COA, and OYS) of Ca in the diet on productive performance and egg quality from 58 to 73 wk of age. The FIN diet contained all the Ca carbonate as fine limestone (LIM). In the COA and OYS diets, 40% of the fine LIM was substituted with either coarse LIM or oyster shell. Each...

In this study, the effects of boric acid and humate supplementation into hen diets on egg production and quality parameters and blood cholesterol levels were examined. For this aim, totally 160, 40 weeks of age, Hyline-White 98 layers were randomly divided into control and 3 treatment groups each containing 40 birds and 10 replicates (each with 4 birds). There was no boric acid or humate supple...

Effects of laying hens housing system on laying performance, egg quality characteristics, and egg microbial contamination

The objective of this study was to compare the performance, egg quality, and microbial contamination of egg shells from hens maintained in different housing systems, such as conventional and enriched cages, litter, and aviaries. The housing system significantly (P < 0.001) influenced the performance characteristics. The highest egg production, lowest daily feed consumption, and feed conversion ...
